I thought I'd post a quick update on "things" here. Hopefully, I'll get caught up with more details soon. But for now, Lindsay is doing much better. She's no longer having headaches but is still struggling with double vision.
She has been helping with a few chores here on the farm but is wearing a helmet to ensure her safety. I don't know if she will be wearing it all of the time once she is totally healed but at least for now she is wearing it.
She's also not leading any horses at this time. She is cleaning around a couple of them in there stalls but only if the horses remain quiet. At any signs of being naughty or excited, she's been instructed to make a quick retreat. That hasn't happened and I doubt that it will, but it's better to have things spelled out for Lindsay to be safe.
As for me and the stuff with my daughter and granddaughter, that continues to be complicated. There's a horse show this weekend and that's going to be tough. I hope to post more details later but in the meantime, let's just say that "times are trying."
I seem to have averted an internal crisis but I feel on the verge of tears most of the time. I doubt things are going to resolve any time soon. I just keep plugging along. I have decisions to make about how to handle and when to handle this whole mess and those are not coming easily.
Thanks again everyone for your support. It's really appreciated. I really miss not getting around to each of your blogs to catch up with you. I hope things will settle down here soon so life can get back to "normal"...............whatever that is.
