Updates

It's been a rough couple of weeks but it's certainly been amazing all the support I have gotten from my friends in the blogosphere. I've really appreciated everyone's supportive comments. They certainly helped to override or at least question some of those negative messages that were barraging me.

The image above is from a card I received in the mail from my friend, Kahless. The thoughtful handwritten message helped to remind me that I do matter. It also helped me remember all of my blogging friends who have been out there pulling for me to get through this ordeal.

I'm grateful for each and everyone of you. You have all touched me in your own special way.

I think I'm rounding a corner in this current process. I've managed to get the lid back on those core issues. I don't know that I've got this ticking time bomb totally diffused but I'm working on it. In the meantime, the immediate crisis seems to be averted.

I'm still being barraged with flashbacks but nothing I can't handle. Lindsay is getting better each day. She even went to the movies with a friend yesterday and did quite well. I thought she's crash when she got home but she wasn't all that tired out. The doctor expects she'll be back to normal in about a month but I think we're past the scary part with her too.

Now if I could just get back to riding horses again, I think things might settle down for a bit.

Glad you were able to question those negative messages as they are old programming.

There are a lot of people here pulling for you.

Just stopped by to say hello and read back several weeks to find out what was going on. Wanted to say that I support you in your struggles and wish and pray that you will find the peace all your separate selves need.

I am glad she's over the hump, so to speak. That is a relief to know.
