I should have realized that something had me. The last few days I just haven't been myself. I've been barely getting by doing what absolutely needed to be done and nothing else. It's almost been like I wasn't all there. Someone else has been gliding through my life just getting by instead of living.
This morning I slept right through my alarm and missed an appointment at the gym at 5 am. While I'm not crazy about going to the gym, it is unlike me to not show up when I have told someone I would be there.
Tonight it hit me. Between not being able to get warm and feeling nauseous, it dawned on me that I am sick. My stomach is rolling like I'm on a roller coaster ride and the dreaded diarrhea has not hit.
It's no wonder I haven't felt like posting or working on my book. I guess I'm going to have to sit back and wait to get over this before I try pushing myself into things I'm not up to doing. At least now I understand WHY I'm not up to much.

I hope you get well soon, RR. We are on our third contagious illness in our house since autumn. It's getting a little tiresome. Lucky for me, this time it's a virus. For some reason my immune system can kick the crap out of a virus, but hasn't done quite as well with bacteria lately. I hope you haven't eaten any tainted peanut butter products.
Thanks, Lynn, I know your household has seen its share of illness this past fall and winter. That's one of those things with kids in school, they bring home all kinds of things. Can't say I miss those days at all.
As for peanut butter, just typing the words makes me gag. I don't do peanut butter so I am safe that at least. LOL
Hope you feel better soon. My daughter is sick today and I'm praying it doesn't hit my son or the rest of us.
Enola, yes, there's nothing worse than when the baby gets sick. They are so vulnerable as infants and they can't even tell you what's wrong. I hope he gets by unscathed.
Rest up and I hope you recover soon.
I hope you get well soon! I was sick from August to Oct. One thing after another. I hate the start of school lol. Now I'm just dealing with my back, someone snuck in an extremely heavy hay bale and I about killed myself when I grabbed it to pull it down off the stack. By the time I realized it was too heavy, it was too late, it was catch it and move it or get smushed. Hubby got an earful when he got home lol.
When we're sick we drink lots of chicken broth. It helps alot, very easy to keep down, lots of protien too. Leaves a nasty after taste, but doesn't taste to bad. And we eat lots of the Rite Aid brand chewable vitamin C tabs. They're actually quite tasty without the chalky after taste. :) Hope you kick this bug soon.
I came up with a concoction lately that is pretty much a cure all for virus, bacteria, fungus, yeast, mold and whatever other bugs may decide to attack.
Boil a quart of water, remove from heat, add 2 or more crushed garlic cloves, a dollop of honey, a good tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar, a Traditional Medicinals Throat Coat tea bag and any other flavor tea of your choice. Sip throughout the day.
I stopped a sinus infection I had dead in its tracks a few week ago with that witches brew in 24 hours.
Hope you start to feel better soon. Take care.
Hope you are feeling better by now.
